We ask that when you submit to Pelorus Press you send us your process rather than just your product. Please send us several drafts (at least three drafts) of each poem as well as the final draft. We appreciate drafts with hand written notes and revisions as well as drafts that explain your thought process. Please take a look at the examples below.
We are also open to accepting essays about creativity, books or authors that inspired you, great teaching moments, and any other essay that may celebrate the craft of writing.
Other projects that represent process are also of interest to us, but please send us a query email at firstname.lastname@example.org before submitting to see if it is something that we can publish in our journal.
We ask for North American Rights to Publish. Following publication, all rights revert back to the poet - we only ask that you credit Pelorus Press as the Place your work first appeared.
