Pelorus Press is a 501(c)3 educational literary non-profit incorporated in the Fall of 2014 by founders and co-owners Cahaley Markman and Dylan Debelis. Pelorus Press was born out of a frustration with the contemporary publishing world that solely focuses on the finished product of a literary work and not the meaningful process behind its creation. Pelorus Press believes that only by exhibiting and exploring that process through our classroom seminars, annual literary magazine, and  publishing projects, may we begin to steer the cultural conversation back to meaningful art driven by voracious readers.
